Renditions carries a complete line of Porteous Handmade Tile designs in all of the available colorways. These beautiful tiles are handmade by the Porteous family in Wellington, New Zealand. The tile designs include a large range of reproduction Art Nouveau tile designs and many Arts & Crafts tile designs.

All the original glaze colours, including the elusive alkaline colours, have been recreated by Porteous Tiles to give their tiles excellent historical accuracy. Porteous Tiles are hand-made from a plastic semi-porcelain clay, hand-painted with majolica type glazes, and then fired to a high temperature, resulting in a very strong product with minimal water absorption and fantastic lasting characteristics – truly antiques of the future!

The tiles may be displayed on an easel, used in an installation, or framed. Renditions offers custom framing for the tiles in frames made from quarter-sawn oak, walnut, cherry, or the wood of your choice.
